I decided to run a radiator because it is going to take awhile to program the Tech II with the engine running. I am also going to use the stock Saturn water pump and alternator. The alternator will have a larger pulley to run it at about 50% speed.

The radiator is mounted in rubber.

The chute tube is salt proof PVC and it was "in stock".

I asked Pork Pie to take a look at the car sketch and see if I could improve the aero.He sent back the sketch with about seven items changed. One of them was the angle on the rear bottom. I could have changed it with the body work only but changed the tubing angle too. This will allow enough room to put a second chute along with the exhaust pipe and push tube out the back. I'm going to use all of Pork Pie's suggestions. Thanks Thomas.

The English wheel in the back ground is for the compound curves, I was trying to avoid. The copper vent tube a is temporary item to make sure the tube would clear the top of the body. The string line is not the finish shape of the top. The slope will start 4 ft. ahead of the wooden template.

The differential was straightened to align the wheels. The frame still needs diagional tubing and adjustable bump stops in the differential section.

Chute tube support. The aft portion of the tube will also be supported by the rear enclosure.

3 of the top panels and the nose piece will have compound curves. I will have to learn how to use the E-wheel. I will probably remake the canopy some day. It's not coming out very nice!

It's been 3 yrs since I started on this project. It's been fun but I really need to have it ready for Speed Week '08. If I don't have it done by then I may sell it. I still have a couple of major things to buy. Not giving up yet but I don't know if I want to be the oldest Bonneville rookie!
